Ultra is a brand name here. These drives aren't "ultra hard" drives. They're just as hard as any other drive.
What's the hardest material? A crystallized form of carbon. What are these Ultra Hard Drives made from? Um, not that?
The word "hard" in "hard drive," you see, has nothing to do with the toughness or firmness of the item, although this hard drive isn't exactly a marshmallow. The word "hard" in "hard drive" is more about the rigidity of the drive itself, especially when compared to a "floppy" drive, which we no longer can, because they pretty much don't exist except in museums.
Does that answer your question? We hope so.
