This is a GREAT time to be watching TV! But a bad time to have faith in society.
What's happening right now? We're starting the election process. People are fighting over who's right and who's wrong. Special interest groups are standing up for themselves. Majority power-barons are standing up for themselves. Life long politicians are fighting up-and-comers over who has the right to be the candidate, and there's a couple billionaires waiting in the wings to step in as soon as the initial battle is over. Gender, race, creed, religion, all the things we hold sacred are on the table to insult or defend as the chosen few go to war for the right to ignore what we ask them to do during the next three years. And this is gonna go ALL SUMMER.
It's a bad time to be hoping for a functioning society. But man. Is it gonna make for GREAT TV watching. Get yourself a nice 55" TV so you can keep up with every twist and turn. It'll get uglier before it gets better.
